Sunday Grumps agreed to watch the boys and Mama & I went to an estate auction. I had no intention of buying anything. I have more inventory than I have storage. I have a shed full of items to be listed. I just "wanted out of the house for a little while." Mama knew better than to believe that so we drove my Dad's truck. Three hours later the bed of the truck was packed and so were the backseats. Oops!

It isn't my fault, really. They sold an entire closet full of vintage clothing, aprons, and hats. For one price. How could I possibly pass that up at the bargain price of $4? FOUR DOLLARS. Then I spotted some beautiful China... eBayers can't resist a bargain. We are weak, and auctioneers know it. Mine hugged me when we arrived. He said "There's my bargain girl!" (I snickered about that all afternoon. Only in rural Arkansas can you get away with calling a 35 year old woman a girl. He calls every woman under 60 a girl, and means nothing disrespectful at all by it. Neither does any other man in my county.)
It was in an old 3 story house. I loved it. I can poke around in old houses for hours. All of the light fixtures were fancy, all of the doorknobs glass. It had a dumbwaiter. Tall ceilings, wood floors, big windows. Divine.
When we got home there wasn't a place to put it all. I am trying to list every item I bought before the weekend. I need my kitchen table back. Stay tuned!
