I didn't sleep well Friday night. We were at camp & my bed there is uncomfortable. My parents have a small place on the Arkansas River. The kids and I love to go and play in the water. The view from the porch swing is awesome, too. So I will admit due to my lack of sleep I had grouchy thoughts when Mama asked if I wanted to go out to the yard sales. She said there are a BUNCH of them, come on! It turned out she looked at her paper wrong. A bunch was actually two. WOW am I glad I got my grumpy tail out of bed though!
The spoils from the first sale:
Vintage perfume bottle (btw, can anyone ID it?)
Lefton Silent Butler / Crumber:
Sheffield Coffee Mug
Now it gets really good! The 2nd sale was one of those that many drive right by without stopping. There were just two tables of stuff, none of which looked promising from the road. I was shocked to find the next items. They were all spotlessly clean, too!
Vintage 1950's Red Canister Set:
Two sealed 1970's Picture Banks:
Beautiful Ruby Red Glass Oval Dish / Platter:
Bakelite Drawer Pulls / Handles:
Vintage Ladies Hankies:
Cracker Box of Old Cars:
My FAVORITE by far - Vintage Silhouette TV Lamp:
Total for all of it? Approx $37!!! What did you find?
You have some wonderful treasures! My favorites are the butler thingie! I have a lamp and a picture with that same image! Also I love oval red platter and the vintage hankies! I love red and I have a collection of vintage hankies myself.
