Do You Watch Storage Wars on A&E ? My Thoughts
Do you watch the show? I do. So do many other "junkers" I know. I love to look at other people's stuff. I do catch myself thinking the same things with each show though:
- People put very odd things in storage units. I see a lot of empty hangers & old mail.
- The profits they say they will realize seem overinflated.
- Brandi dresses like she is going to the prom? Auctions are hot & dirty most of the time.
- I love Barry's quirky personality and I think he would be fun to hang out with. But it really bothers me to see him throw, break, & discard perfectly good but common household items looking for the rare things. I wish he would donate it to charity or even give it to the other buyers. Does this bother anyone else?

I agree with you about Barry tossing perfectly good items around and breaking them. There is several types of shows like this on in my area, and it is sad to say, but I watch them all. Have you watched Auction Hunters?
I have watched them all I think but SW is my fave - antiques roadshow is my least fave - I have seen listings on eBay trying to get 1/4 of what the roadshow said the item was worth and failing. Thanks for the comment Paulette!
Oh, Barry drives me crazy when he does that too! I want to reach through the TV and grab him. But, I actually like Brandi's outfits. If I were on TV I would want to look good too!
I agree..I think the prices are inflated. Even before this show, I've always wanted to buy a storage unit. I've never jumped..I think I need to find someone to go in with me the first few times.
LOL!! I say that everytime Barry throws something out the door of the storage unit...he could have gotten money for that, or given it to one of the others..!!!!!!!!!Jarrod & Brandi are my favorites, they seem to have a good relationship in spite of it all!! And, ditto, I;m always telling my son "What??!!!?? They'll never get that for "......whatever it is they are extolling at the time....". Nice to hear others feel the same way!!
Thank you! It is nice to know I am not the only one that thinks that. I enjoy the sarcasm that Jarrod & Brandi share but I can't move furniture in heels lol. Thanks for the visit.
