Fun Find - Old Glass IV Bottle & Thrift Store Insanity
I am trying to work, juggle two kids, & eBay. I have a ton of items to list. I still have one Disney animal and two tubs of Revere Ware from the estate auction to list. A shed and a garage full of glass to list. It would be crazy for me to keep shopping. Yet Mama & I hit up the local thrift yesterday anyway. Again. We just have so much fun together that I can't say no. Plus it supports a local charity. They are getting rid of Winter items so they can put out the Spring/Summer stuff. There were $0.25 tubs of clothing, and $0.50 jeans. A whole rack of men's dress shirts for $0.50 each. 3 large sacks and 3 very large trash bags full later I am feeling guilty plus surrounded by stuff! But I have Columbia! Nike! Patagonia! Gap! American Eagle! Abercrombie! 2 jars of old glass marbles & shooters! (that I always buy but know nothing about) A microwave turntable. A couple of mugs. Whew!
I am off this weekend and am going to wear my fingers out listing. I have just 241 items in the store as of this morning.
I bought one thing I am keeping. After looking it up I discovered that it isn't worth anything to anyone but me. I am not disappointed at all as it was just $2 & I am in LOVE with the thing. It is an old D5W Abbott Laboratories IV bottle. It is small, holding just 300mls. There is old tape residue on the side I haven't cleaned off yet. I think it is a cool item, but nurses are weirdos.

Good luck listing all of your items. I know how daunting listing ebay items are, but just think of all the sales you will make.
That IV bottle is quite the curiosity piece!

I worked in a hospital for 10 years as a unit secretary and IMO nurses are going straight to heaven! It was great for you to find the old IV bottle! One of my nurses was talking to one of our foreign docs on the phone and couldn't understand what he was saying and asked him to spell it - you guessed it - he was saying D5W!! Lynn from YSQ
