Facebook Sales - Another Great Venue

When I buy things, especially in bulk, I end up with a lot of stuff too nice to throw away, but not valuable enough for eBay. I also have things too large to ship. I know I have mentioned it before, but don't exclude Facebook as a great way to sell these everyday things. Household goods and toys sell very fast for us. No fees and cash in hand from buyers is a huge plus. I am sure how comfortable this is for you depends on where you live. My town doesn't even have a stoplight. We are THAT small. So I am comfortable meeting people in person to buy/sell goods. Last night I sold some cookware, everything I listed,  in minutes. There is a buying/selling group for just about every city now. Just search for yours. I take Paypal and credit cards over my iPhone now too. That is going to be a plus for furniture sales.  Give Facebook a try and let me know how it goes!

I use FB alot to sell items. Our city has a ton of groups. I've never felt uncomfortable meeting people. I just stick to a busy area like a gas station. I know some folks on the groups I am in use a system where they leave it on the porch and the person puts the money under their mat. Most of the time these people are home. I wish I could do that..but not sure I"m comfortable with that.

How do you find a Facebook selling group?

I have been using FB a lot lately to get things out the door that just aren't doing well on eBay. I still make a profit, although sometimes it's smaller, but at least it keeps my inventory moving!
